  1. 1From downtown Augusta, take ME-17 West (Western Ave / Readfield Rd) through Manchester into Readfield.
  2. 2At the blinking light in Readfield, turn right onto ME-41 North (Pond Road).
  3. 3Follow ME-41 North for approximately 6.5 miles.
  4. 4DEW Haven entrance is on your right at 918 Pond Road. Watch for our wooden zoo entrance signs!

Visitor Information

Operating Days:Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM(Last entry strictly at 3:00 PM)
Admission Gate:Tickets available at the Gift Shop or online. Cash and all major credit cards accepted.
Non-Profit Sanctuary:100% of proceeds directly fund food, veterinary care, and habitats for our rescues.
No Outside Pets:For the health and safety of our 150+ wild residents, pets cannot enter sanctuary grounds.
